The Idaho-Maryland Gold Mine is located in Grass Valley, California. The Idaho-Maryland Mine was the second-largest underground gold mine in California, producing about 2.4 million ounces of gold from 1861 until 1956. It is adjacent to the historic Empire Mine, which was historically the largest operating underground gold mine in California.
